| Candidates should be civil engineering or construction
management graduates, have a good academic record, possess good computer skills
including exposure to CPM scheduling, and have good interpersonal skills.
Construction Engineer assignments within the Cherry Hill
Engineer training program include basic estimating, jobsite field engineering
to support Superintendents, and office engineering in support of the Project
Engineer. Typically the Engineer will
report to a Project Engineer or Lead Estimator. Responsibilities may include the following:
- Quality
control
- CPM
preparation and updates
- Preparation,
review, and tracking of submittals
- Selection
and inspection of materials
- Tracking
and preliminary pricing of Extra Work
- Development
of shop drawings and work plans
- Quantity
takeoffs and preliminary pricing of future work
- Quantity tracking and cost control for ongoing work
