Our Project Managers take ownership of construction projects from
pre-award to final payment and are responsible and accountable for
construction revenue, costs, safety, quality and schedule.
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, they supervise a jobsite
staff of superintendents and engineers. Project Managers are eligible to share individually in the
profits of their projects through a defined incentive program.
Candidates
for the Project Manager position should have a civil engineering or
construction management degree, heavy/highway construction field
experience, contract management experience, estimating ability,
leadership skills, effective communication skills, strong writing
ability, creativity, and determination.

construction and highway segment of the construction industry and
primarily operates in the District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland and
Virginia, but is also conducts business in Delaware and West
Virginia.
The company was founded in 1966 as Cherry Hill Sand
and Gravel Co., in Jessup, Maryland. It was incorporated under
Maryland charter in 1968 as Cherry Hill Sand and Gravel Co., Inc.
The name was changed in 1978 to Cherry Hill Construction, Inc.
The corporation was acquired as a wholly owned subsidiary of Tutor Perini
Corporation in 2005.
