
Cherry Hill was recently awarded the contract to construct the East Access Road Bridge located on the Food and Drug Administration Consolidation Campus in Montgomery County, Maryland. The 503-foot, 3-lane, 3-span bridge crosses the Point Branch River and replaces an existing bridge.
The project includes construction of the following:
• 10 caissons
• 214 tons of reinforcing steel
• 3100 cy of concrete
• 42 tons of structural steel
It is anticipated that construction will begin in late January 2009 and be completed in Summer 2009.
